The votes for the annual Dragon Awards are in, and Andy Weir’s Project Hail Mary won for best sci-fi novel, and Jim Butcher’s Battle Ground for best fantasy novel.
Atlanta’s Dragon Con took place over the long Labor Day weekend earlier this month, and as part of the festivities, the convention handed out its annual Dragon Awards, which honor the past year’s best books, comics, and games in a variety of categories.

- Best Science Fiction or Fantasy TV Series: The Expanse, Amazon
- Best Science Fiction or Fantasy Movie: The Old Guard by Gina Prince-Bythewood
- Best Science Fiction or Fantasy PC/Console Game: Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla, Ubisoft
- Best Science Fiction or Fantasy Mobile Game: Harry Potter: Puzzles and Spells, Zynga
